not really much different than say a coworker at work.....this dude is my equal in every way right, he is not my boss, we get paid the same, perform the same job. Well, lets see what goes down at negotiations. They sit at a table and come to common terms. Now the process goes, i want this, you want this, lets meet half way. Now this is how Pacquiao-Mayweather went.

Pacquiao's Demands:

1. 8oz gloves
2. smaller ring size
3. Larger portion of the prize money.

Floyd's Demands:

1. 60/40 cut of the prizemoney

Negotiated deal(s):

1. 50/50 prize cut.

So basically Floyd doesn't get any demands. He is left with nothing, he doesn't choose the gloves, he doesn't choose the ring size, he settles for 50/50 split. So then, Floyd demands ONE (1) thing. So then, Floyd throws this in.

Floyd's ONE (1) and ONLY demand:

1. Random Olympic Style Blood Testing until night of fight and after fight.

Pacquiao wanted only beginning of training camp, then day of fight only, then wanted 30 day cut off. Then said he was afraid of needles. Then said his religion won't let him take blood. Then said a flat out no. (all of which is very fishy but that's neither here nor there)


So, you mean to tell me Floyd can't even get ONE SINGLE demand in order for the fight to happen? Pacquiao gets gloves, ring size both in his favor. Puncher's gloves, small ring for less maneuverability. A 50/50 prize cut, even though Floyd obviously grosses more when he fights.

Yes I know what you're gonna say "I'm all for better testing if it was for every fight, not just Mayweather fights".

Well it's just not Mayweather fights, Saurland promotions has been doing this before Mayweather. It has to start some where, it's a small group of fighters who are all for better testing, Mayweather, Ward, Pascal, etc, while guys like Cotto, Berto, Bradley etc have said they would have no problem with taking random blood tests because they have nothing to hide.

testing is good for the sport. But the trouble is Pac was initially accused of being a cheat.
So pac digs his heals in and says 'F-YOU" to Floyd and his demands.

If Floyd wanted to clean up the sport, launch a campaign and focus on getting the commision to change its policies.

Pac said in an interview after the Morales loss, he thinks the blood testing he had before the fight had something to do with his loss. So he believes blood testing weakens him.
So Floyd saying "il take the test also" is irrelevant. Its like me saying "ive cut my finger, now u cut urs"
