I'll give him his due....especially after the Maidana fight....

He went on a good win streak, took out Berto when the majority of fans diddn't give him a chance in hell....

BUT....when putting ANYONE in the ring against the type of caliber of a Floyd or Pacquiao....most if not all fighters look regular.....ex. - Floyd vs Hatton, DLH, JMM, Mosley....all "special" if not elite fighters....Manny vs Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, Hatton etc...

Ortiz is good and has come A LONG WAY...we'll find out just how far along come Sept....

I don't think he is that good. He has improved going up to 147, but he is not mayweather/pacquiao good. It amazes me that people still don't understand this after watching mayweather for so many years. Ortiz has pretty much no chance in this fight, he will be knocked out in the second half between rounds 8-11.

Ortiz is world class no one can argue against that, and he has just come off a career best performance. It is good timing from floyd, no one can really criticise the match up too much. But to be honest PAC and mayweather are just treading water, these other guys can't beat them at this point in time

Yup, Ortiz is that good. He's gonna knock Floyd out in round one.
