    is Ortiz really THAT good?

I've seen a lot of chat about Ortiz, but is he really that good.

After Maidana, everyone lost interest and I believe Maidana showed you a side of him.

He came back blazing against an overrated Berto and I don't think Berto or anyone expected Ortiz to come in fighting like that.

But put him against a skilled fighter or a fighter with outstanding pressure and what is going to happen?

Mayweather will make him look amateur IMO

Yes he is, noone gives him credit cause he lost against Maidana who is an amazing fighter and none of the cowards on here would even have the balls to even make eye contact.

Ortiz will give Mayweather a hard fight.

And I respect Mayweather now for taking this fight against a hungry young fighter coming off a huge win. Mayweather could of faced another shot old man like Pacquiao but he went for a young fighter.

I respect the coward a bit more now, but I still don't like him that much.

He's good for the first 3-5 rounds, then he fades. He's the definition of a front runner.

He's very good...NSB posters are hard to impress...there are a lot of geeks and fat philipinos on this site...the only cool posters are really the Floyd fans lol to get hit and endure 12 rounds of hard work shows athletisicm and heart IMO that's why boxing is a great sport. Ortiz is a great fighter! He has greath athletisicm, power, speed, decent skills, and he took Berto's best shots through 12 rounds on his first WW fight...You ppl ***** a lot and question fighters so much...sit back and enjoy the sport!

Isn't making fighters look amateur what Mayweather does? Why do u want him to change his style, to give his opponents a better chance to beat him perhaps?

hes a solid fighter one of the best in the WW division due to lack of star power... but he will have to do for now!

I can see Victor outworking Mayweather, he's got the stamina and with a good enough plan he can do it. He's skilled enuff and we dont have to mention that he has power. God, I'd so love that! Floyd needs a lesson.
