I'm not even mad at Martinez calling Cotto out he's gotta keep his name steam rolling with the public.If Cotto ever decides to fight Martinez it won't be at 154, i'm sure he'll like a crack at Martinez's belt.Martinez is just too tough for Cotto at this stage of his career imo.I'll always root for him but this is a difficult fight.

Seems like favoritism will not allow some fans to see the threat that another fighter poses.

Cotto being technical and having a good jab will make this fight competitive, but it doesn't mean he won't get hit. Cotto will get hit and the problem is, he will get caught a lot. He's gonna get caught with something he doesn't see, and he's gonna get hurt.

First, Cotto is a technically more sound boxer. He can connect with that jab as Sergio moves back with his hands low.

Sergio's stamina is nearly as suspect as Cotto's. I think that is a wash

Cotto can cut off the ring just as good as anyone in boxing, which is what he'll have to do

At 154, its a damn close battle. At 160, I think Martinez takes it.

I don't freaking get it. I am a huge Pacquiao fan, even after all the bullsh** he has pulled. I would LOVE to see him challenge himself with a Martinez fight at 154. I would go nuts, I don't care how bad most the world would think he gets his ass kicked, I want to see that!

To see the way some fanbases make every excuse why their favorite fighters should not fight the best challenge available, they should be embarrassed.
