There is no need to **** on his record it does so by its own merits. There isn't a single HoF on the list win, lose or draw for Sergio.

First of all. Pavlik was damn near too much, williams aswell in terms of size. Sergio is not 6 foot. EVERY top guy at 168 is over 6'1". Bute, Froch, Ward, Kessler are all 6'1. Dirrel is 6'2. and they are all HUGE men naturally. Not everyone wants to jump up in weights their entire careers. It's that simple. DEAL WITH IT.

Just because Pac and Floyd did it means what exactly? They wanted to, good for them. The same question can be asked to any fighter Sergio calls out. 168 is not "his break". By "his break' he is talking big pay days. He already has a name big enough to ask for big events - 168 will not help that at all. He will not do ANY ppv numbers with ANYONE at 168 because NONE OF THEM are that well received in the states.

This is the problem with Sergio, if Cotto were to move up to 160 it would be Cotto's 4th jump in weight. For Manny and Floyd to move up the same it would 8 or 9 divisions. Just as you say not every can jump up in weight so why do all these guys have to do it for Sergio and he can't even ask for a catchweight with some 168 guys? Jesus, the hypocrisy from some of you is unbelievable.

To me it just sounds like Sergio's vagina got hurt because Cotto didn't rub on it. Get over it dude for real, you got snubbed by a SMALLER man and he's acting like a b*tch saying Cotto has no balls. That's fine, the issue WHO is saying it and who is saying it about, Cotto has possibly had one of the toughest 4-5 years on boxing. Paulie, Quintana, Judah, Mosley, Margarito, Clottey and Manny and now Margarito again. There at least 2 HoF fighters on that list and he beat one of them. I don't see Sergio asking Margarito for a rematch and he lost to the guy once already, now Cotto is taking that fight and he has no balls while Sergio is fighting a NOBODY?

Fighting Paul Williams twice, shows more balls than Cotto ever had.

Cotto also never fought Cintron at WW.He never even bothered to face Dzinzuruk, and I doubt Cotto would have fought Pavlik at 160.

Sorry but Martinez has more balls than Cotto. I don't see Martinez taking on old fighters like Mosley[36] or Mayorga[37], who are the best names on his resume.

O.o BWAHAHA did you just start watching boxing? Cotto's beaten better fighters at 140+ than Floyd ever FACED. He BEAT Mosley 3 years before Floyd stepped into the ring with him and he fought 3 of the top WW's Floyd never even faced. For all the ducking Floyd did, Cotto did all the fighting win or lose.

Margacheato fought a young Martinez and a prime Cotto or close to his prime... Cotto gave up and got on his knees. Cotto gave up in his two biggest fights in his career.

Martinez does have balls because he's willing to fight anyone and has been calling out the best fighters in the world, but they don't want to fight him.

Martinez should be fighting Cotto or Chavez Jr. in Oct.

Who is 6' 01"? Martinez? Try 5'10" and at around 35 years old not all fighters are blessed that they can move up in weight. Maybe you are spoiled with Pac in his abilities of securing fights in a higher weight class but he is the exception.

There are no real big money fights for Martinez at 154 or 160 besides Cotto and Pac if he ever wants 154 again (highly doubt that one). Sturm is the next one in Germany but that is it.

168 you have an array of good fighters but non are a superstar PPV attraction.Martinez wants to get paid and he is not young. HBO wouldn't do him against Zbik but did it for Jr. But on the flip side HBO is paying him to fight a no name fighter. And please don't say Pirog cause he only has had one good fight against a top contender

Both Floyd and Pacq made their way to the P4P by moving up beating top guys. They didnt move down to acheive this nor did they call out lighter guys to get the P4P crown. Martinez is just afraid to moveup, hes already at the home stretch of his career... why end it early trying to beat bigger guys?

Cotto is not scared he is just smart. NOBODY Wants to fight Martinez and for good reason. There is nobody within 3 weight classes that can compete with him.
