To say "That would lead to his downfall" is more like overrating Pacquiao
True, FRAUD won't change his Approach, he'll keep PUNKING OUT!!!

dude is right about Pac though, he has fought boxers at their career low points. Just like Floyd will do with Ortiz, he will walk manny down, throwing lead rights, jab in the face all night. and counter left hooks, manny isn't accurate enough against a moving target, nor is his timing that good, punches in bunches he plays the odds

If Floyd vs Manny ever does happen. I see pac winning a SD, with mayweather landing at a much higher connect %, but manny landing more shots due to a furioisly high work rate. It really is a toss up though a true 50 50 fight.

            Mayweather-Ortiz is a legitimate scrap.

If the May-Pac "bout" ever went down it would be boring and hardly a fight as Mayweather plays safety first and does just enough to win the rounds, afraid of seriously engaging Pac for fear of getting caught.
In other words you know Mayweather would win, and Pacquiao can't do anything to figure how to hit Floyd while Floyd is boxing circles around him. That's all that matters, that you acknowledge Floyd will win when the fight happens.

Pac won't be able to have a high work rate

Floyd choose Ortiz for a reason... If this is not a tune-up fight, why would you pick 30-40M if you can fight Manny for 75M. as simple as that. lets wait what will happen on 2012.

If Floyd will not step up, the whole world will scrutinize him like there is no tomorrow. Just let him fight Ortiz. I know floyd will win in booooorrrriiiinnngggg decision.

True but it will still be an intriguing event, answers the question as to who would win, plus the pre-hype would be amazing.

It is not hating but rather true that Floyd out of retirement twice beat and is fighting reigning champs while Manny fights around them. Don't know why that is seen as hating. If the fight ever happens, I see Floyd stopping Manny (only if he steps on the gas) but if not, then it will be a wide UD. Cotto had success when he boxed for a couple of rounds but Cotto doesn't have the technical temperament to keep it up. Clottey let his hands go out of a defensive guard and bust Pac's face up and he barely threw anything. In Pac's last 3 fights (Cotto, Clottey, Margarito) Pac got hit more than Floyd did in his entire career. Floyd is a top compubox connector and Manny is always getting tagged. I would bet all my points that Floyd gaffles Pac.

All Floyd has to do is stick a jab in Pac's face everytime he tries to throw all them punches and check him in the body. Pac would be walking into counter punches all day in that fight. Pac doesn't know how to engage if his opponent is not rushing him. Mosley was on the run and Pac couldn't cut him off and put him down. Pac ain't ready for Floyd. Roach already said he doesn't have a game plan for Floyd and needs to switch Manny up and get him to see what he sees. He has to change Pac's whole style up against Floyd who switches up on the fly. Pac ain't beating Floyd.
