What gave you the conclusion that Ortiz is better than Marg and Clottey in the first place when Ortiz only had 1 fight at WW. And he fought a hyped up, protected, paper champion in Berto.. Ortiz is not even a successful Junior Welter. There are like 4-5 guys who are better than him in that division...

Plus Pac fought Margarito and Clottey when they were still one of the top guys in that division. Losing against another top WW does not diminish your standings in that division. That what happens when the best fights the best. They were not losing to anyone else except themselves.

Margarito was not even ranked and Clottey was a top 5 and lost his previous fight hardly a top guy in the division the HBO hype job Berto was ranked higher then both at WW. as for Margarito he is not a threat anymore and saying Ortiz is the better fighter right now is an understatement

Margarito was not ranked because he was suspended for a year. When he lost to Mosley his rankings went down slightly but he was still there because Mosley himself was a top WW..No one defeated him to lose that rankings.

Clottey was in the top 5 but at least he fought the top WW in that division. Berto cruise his way to the top because either the fighters were losing, or moving up in weight. He was undeafeted and in the rankings because he had the belt and is fighting nobody of significance.
