I won't,that's just crazy. That almost makes it sound like Ur saying Pacman is more dangerous than Martinez at 154.Which is absolutely preposterous,no disrespect.

How does it feel knowing no one will ever take you seriously for making such a ******ed comment and showing your true knowledge of the sport?

Not drawing a comparison. Assuming Cotto wins the rematch Dec 3, it's time for Cotto to move on to the best and most lucrative fight out there. I believe that would be against Martinez, and a convincing win over Marg will give him credibility. Pac-Cotto is history.... All questions have been answered.

I respectfully disagree completely. It seems to me like the majority of Boxing scene are in agreement that Cotto is not as good as Pacman & Floyd & a rematch even at 154 would be futile correct??If that's the case then IMO there is absolutely no reason under the sun that Cotto should be the 1 to fight Martinez. If anyone should fight Martinez,it should be Floyd or Pacman, who are considered greater than Cotto. It really is simple.Cotto can't beat Pacman at jr middleweight,Pacman is greater, why would I want to see Cotto fight Martinez then??Why not the greater Pacman??Or the greater Floyd, who fight fans seem so convinced beat Cotto??

            Why??? LOL

Man some of you people live in fantasy land. Martinez vs Cotto wouldn't be fair, it would be like watching a child get beaten up by a grow man.

I never want to see that happen because I don't want to see cotto get hurt. Margarito, Cotto and Chavez Jr should run the other way if they even hear the word "Martinez".

Martinez vs. Pac/Floyd seems highly improbable, akin to "fantasy land". I do believe that Cotto would jump at the opportunity, win/lose or draw.

That wasn't my point, WHY is the question I'm asking. Why do you want to see Cotto get beaten to death?

Martinez vs Cotto isn't fair. Cotto was brutally beaten by Pac, a small man. Imagine what a lagit 160lb fighter with power and speed will do to him?

Come on man, nobody wants to see that fight. There's no reason for it.

A loaded question. You can't be certain that he will get "beaten to death".

In all likelyhood, we could agree that Martinez would come out on top. But the odds have never prevented Miguel Cotto from stepping in the ring against anyone.

I feel like Cotto deserves a win, not for a 2nd fight with Pacquiao but to redeem that loss which might have come at a disadvantage. However, I don't think Cotto is going to beat Margarito this time either. Margarito still has tremendous will and chin. At 154 Margarito is strong even without the alleged plaster wraps, it'll be interesting if Margarito is indeed 100% ready.
