What!? Joe Cortez is a hack!. He's probably the only referee who thinks the fans are there to see him. With that crappy "I'm fair but i'm firm" line, who the heck cares son. We're here to see a fight, not hear you say your crappy phrase and butt all into the fight. I can't stand Joe Cortez. He's the only referee that i've seen piss Emanuel Steward off so much where he said he was gonna break the promise to his wife and kids about cussing on camera.

Most of the fights Joe Cortez have ever been on it were controversial. I haven't seen a fight were the fight wasn't controversial. Maybe Pacquiao vs Morales I as the exception but that guy love's to butt in and hog the camera. He likes to block the view a lot of times.

"I'm fair but I'm firm" because "I'm well paid and I'm well connected."
