You're smoking crack if you really believe that. It's rare for PPVs to hit that mark and look at all the names involved in the ones that do. Victor Ortiz is not drawing 1.3 million PPVs, not even close. Floyd came off an even longer layoff against a proven PPV performer in Marquez amidst the initial Pac-Floyd fever and did 1 mil buys, which exceeded most estimates... but Victor Ortiz, the first in a series of 'tune ups' planned by the Mayweathers, is going to draw more?

Like I said, Mayweather-Ortiz will not exceed Mayweather-Hatton in either hype/excitement or buys. Does Ortiz even have a fan base?

Yeah it did 1.1 mil. I remember cause Dan Rafeal said he would shave his head if it did 1 million buys and people were calling him out on it when he reneged.

The fact that Ortiz speaks both english and spanish will add to the buys tremendously. Not only that, but Ortiz is a good looking kid with a good story, has an exciting fighting style and a good calm personality.

The fight will sell, alot. I'm expecting 1.3-1.5.

If HBO and Golden Boy show replays if Ortiz vs Berto... And highlights for Ortiz's early career... And maybe even Highlights to Ortz/Maidana (just be sure to leave out the specific parts in we all know aboutand emphasize that the "Referee stopped the fight via cuts")
