With their history it should do better but not just because of Manny. People believe that Marquez definitely won one of those fights but PBF/Ortiz is what boxing is all about. A great fight for boxing fans. Too bad Floyd will once again show why he's in a class by himself and naysayers will say Ortiz wasn't ready but the same thing would happen to Manny. Your right there was no negotiation. After Ortiz beat Berto he thanked Manny for the advice then challenged him to fight. Arum immediately belittled the fight in the press and said Manny couldnt fight Ortiz because of Golden Boy. If it's so easy why not take the fight? Manny blew that opportunity. He's so use to fighting slower, worn out fighters that PBF would look the Matrix in there with him.

There are about nine zillion examples of Arum inflating his numbers.

This fight did no more than 1.1 million. Thus, why Arum asked Showtime not to release official numbers.

Showtime is carried by the exact same cable systems as HBO, though not as many. The nums are available. They aren't releasing them because they were very disappointing. Just like the FC360 was the lowest-rated show on CBS in the weeks it aired.
