this is ***** reasoning....shane was aggressive with pbf and kept on coming even if he cant hit him that much...pac knock him down and made him go on his bicycle for the entire fight and your telling me floyd did better? lolz idiot...
Lol what a smart ass. The only thing Manny has going on is Marquez is not coming off a lost (even tho he did get dominated by PBF) other than that Manny aint got nothing going on but a circus and even a clown like you can't honestly hate on the Ortiz fight. When was the last time (if ever) Manny fought a young, hungry lion?
This " $1.3mil " figure that is being waved around.....
..... is there even the slightest bit of INDEPENDANT proof regarding those figures, or did that number come solely from Arum?
You hit the nail on the head. This number came solely from Arum. Showtime has never released the numbers. Usually, at least a preliminary number is released within a week after the fight. When the numbers are not released, that means the fight bombed.
The only person who has spoken about the numbers in this fight is Arum and we all know that Arum lies consistently. I am certain that this fight did less than the 700,000 buys that Pac/Clottey did. I also find it odd that Boxing Scene decided to reexamine the numbers right after it is announced that Floyd is coming back against Victor Ortiz, but still failed to report the official numbers from Showtime.
It is obvious what is going on here. Arum is lying again and this writer is trying to keep Pac in the spotlight and throw water on the announcement of a Floyd comeback against a quality opponent.
you guys think may-ortiz will out match the mosley-may ppv?
It won't outdo Mayweather/Mosley, but it will definitely outdo Pac/Mosley because the Pac/Mosley fight sold maybe 600,000 PPV if that much, in spite of the bull**** that Arum is feeding the gullible Pac worshippers on this site.
floyd did better with mosely so what? good for him and boxing...boxing fans want them to fight thats all...this has been going on for soooooooooooooo long they should fight already...both should compromise on their positions enough of the bvllshlt...
The question is what true boxing fan doesnt wanna see OST in boxing? Save the BS for some dumbass, certainly don't come at someone who's been in the ring with the BS. The thing is if Manny had better numbers you and everybody else would be calling and cheering for him to get the bigger peice of the pie but Floyd's not even asking for that. All he wants is a clean, fair fight. How can you or anyone be calling for this fight and not want the same? Don't tell me your a real true fan of boxing but you stand with Manny not submitting to testing.

Big J my dude. This is not the first time Arum took long with numbers. Dumbasses with racial issues believe everything his lying ass tells them. Any true intelligent person knows the real numbers were much lower.
showtime doesnt have a good system like hbo does when counting ppv , they lack experience , just search the boards , it was explained why it took longer than expected
