I don't understand German, so I prefer English.

HBO Canada will have the same telecast as HBO in the US.

I prefer to hear fair, balanced commentary in Englich while watching a fight. I hope it will be Lampley and Merchant, or if I watch the SKY stream, McGuigan with McCrory or Woodhall.

When was the last time Merchant called a fight overseas I'm guessing it will be Lampley, Jones and Kellerman since Steward will be busy.

Maybe. Like Nelson, he'd be rooting for his brother Haye.

        Mike Tyson would be better.

Best for you to watch it without the sound on then, You arent going to get an unbiased commentary in this fight from any english network, I dont care who they appointed that day to oversee the fight THEY would all be biased, Just like any German or Ukrainian TV network commentary team would be biased in Wlad's favour.

Well, you're from the UK, and as I recall you were always biased AGAINST some UK boxers like Hatton and Calzaghe, although you're big David Haye fan.

It is predictable and understandable that the UK commentators would be SOMEWHAT biased in favor of Haye (not as much as Nelson will be though).

However, there is NO GOOD REASON that the US HBO commentators will be biased against Wlad, especially since he goes back to Wlad-Byrd in 2000 with the network, and it will be Haye's first appearance.

If Larry Merchant is doing the HBO commentary/analysis, he will be fair and balanced in his HBO commentary. Lampley will for certain be fair, as will Papa. But Max Kellerman is one of those white guys like yourself who doesn't like white boxers, and he'll be more biased against Wladimir than anyone on the SKY team except maybe Nelson.

Freedom, thought you were flying over to watch the fight?

Maybe Haye's threat to Wlad has given you some doubts

I would be surprised if Jim Watt was not commentating on the fight.

I reckon the studio guests will be Nelson, McCrory and possibly Lewis depending on American TV commitments.

I think Larry still does some World Championship Boxing, but disappointingly, recently for some WCB telecasts HBO has Kellerman.

Also Jim Watt on SKY, although he's more intelligent than Max, has always been overly negative about Wlad, and he'll be talking as if Haye is the greatest boxer of all time. So I'm hoping they'll have Glen McCrory or Richie Woodhall instead (and hopefully Barry McGuigan).

I can always turn the sound off or find the RTL stream, but I prefer to have fair and balanced English commentary while watching a fight.

I get you issue. I've always had trouble muting because you can't hear the punches and the crowd. I don't give a **** what the commentators have to say. They ought to air fights with commentary as an option.

Am not commentating for Sky or HBO so it doesnt matter who am biased against, Again you;re better off watching it with the sound off because am sure all UK TV outlet would be biased in favour of Haye.

The Valuev-Haye fight was scored for Valuev by Jim Watts and the Sky team if i remember correctly but am sure they would be biase in this fight.
