Pacquiao's gloves against Mosley

That's color theory 101, and you're correct. But that has little to do with what I'm pointing out here.
The shape of the gloves are entirely different from other Cleto Reyes gloves. If you take a look at past fights where Pacquiao is wearing his usual red gloves, the sides are rounded and smooth, whereas these yellow gloves have a hard edge and flat punching surface. The shape is different and it's plain to see. It's just unusual, which is why this is being pointed out in the first place.

The edges of the impact area were squared-off rather than completely smooth, like a typical Reyes glove. They didn't look at all like Safetec gloves, either. Did anyone notice this? Is the Cleto Reyes glove factory making custom-padded gloves for Manny or something?

You know, I noticed that too. And I own a pair of Cleto Reyes 10oz Pro Fight Gloves, red to be exact. And Manny’s gloves versus Mosley were definitely 12oz training gloves. I believe this was agreed upon to protect Shane Mosley. Getting hit with Manny’s red 8oz horse hair gloves would’ve ruined Mosley. Notice how they kept touch gloves before & after every round. This fight was a glorified sparring session. I’d bet Mosley was also wearing Grant 12oz training gloves. The end goal of this fight was to make money, and not to hurt each other. That said, PAC still knocked Mosley down with his big yellow puffy gloves. For anyone whose never boxed, training gloves have more padding than pro fight gloves. The padding is there to protect your hands and your opponent.
