Pacquiao's gloves against Mosley

Did anyone notice that Manny had a strange-looking pair of gloves against Shane Mosley? The obvious difference is that they're yellow in color instead of his typical red gloves, but the shape of the glove was much different.

The edges of the impact area were squared-off rather than completely smooth, like a typical Reyes glove. They didn't look at all like Safetec gloves, either. Did anyone notice this? Is the Cleto Reyes glove factory making custom-padded gloves for Manny or something?

I noticed from impact he was not using punchers gloves the same with Mosley,anyone who thinks there is not corruption in this sport is a fool,watch prospects fight.

Yeah, they're obviously Cleto Reyes gloves, the logo on the gloves makes that obvious. What's strange is that they weren't shaped like typical Cleto Reyes gloves. They were more "square" in appearance than the usual Reyes gloves. They actually looked more like a 10oz. version of the Cleto Reyes training gloves...

I noticed this too. They were definite different...they looked larger too.

I'm not one to blame gloves on wins/losses but they are part of the tactics brought to the negotiating table. A recent example was Maidana wearing Winning gloves Vs Morales.

And the thread starter was not implying anything illegal was going on. I agree they didn't look like Reyes save for the labeling.

Gloves really dont mean that much,a guy with hand problems usually goes everlast,a guy who does not goes reyes,either way they are 8-10 ounce gloves.
