I can never respect a guy who turns his back against his own family just because of a woman.
It's not just a woman, it's his wife. Are you saying that your dad should abandon your mom because of your grandparents??

Anyway they all made up now...and it was his wife's doing that they reconciled.

lol, Montiel was the champion at that time. Albeit he really did just get lucky with Hozumi. 9/10 times Montiel loses to Hozumi.

Anyways, he will most likely end up fighting the winner of the bantamweight tournament. Which, unless it's Vic, he will have a tough match up. I would really like to see him fight yonnhy perez though.

Rather see him go up to '22... maybe even '26, nobody's touching him at or around bantam. Not taking away from him, because he has amazing boxing ability, but he has absolutely nothing to worry about in his current weight division. He's been hit with clean, flush shots by Darchinyan and Montiel and he just eats 'em and keeps bringing the pain.

That's because Nonito isn't a natural bantam like the other dudes. He is really a featherweight but cuts so much.

Gambo-Donaire. That would be a FOTY candidate.

i guess a lot of people are supposed to be blind to that type relationship.
that you HAVE to say yes and you HAVE to love people, even though they treat you like ****..

i for one agree with Nonito

Speed, fluidity, power, timing, great variety - he's the best pure puncher in the sport. In all honesty, there isn't anyone that can touch him in the division - he's that good.Only criticism that I have of him is that he tends to switch stances when it's not needed.I don't know what it is,but he seems to think that he's actually effective as a southpaw, and it's clear that he obviously isn't that effective as one.I have no idea why he still does it.

Watch as many of his fights as you can to gain a full understanding and appreciation of him as a fighter. His performance against Raul Martinez was another excellent performance from him - with an absolute peach of an uppercut that ended it.
