    I would think that this is where Golden Boy needs to take over. After all they are going to invest a lot of money on him. They need to get the right people around him. I would hate for Frankie Gomez to end up like all the other great prospects that GB didn't bring up right. Victor Ortiz,(prior to Berto) Linares, Jacobs, Kirkland.
    I know its not all GB fault, but there has to be something to it, since all of their prospects eventually fall by the wayside, yet TR's guys end up world champions.

      I feel like Jose is going to be something special. He has good jabs,power,defense,poise and overall very well rounded and precise. On the other hand besides the explosiveness and power Gomez seems to be sloppy. I can't way till they face off in the Pro's someday..Gomez did beat JB Jr in the amateurs but i have a feeling things will be much different now.

      Benavidez ----> <----------Gomez

        This is what we're hoping in the future. For their eventual showdown. I just hate the fact that Gomez hasn't been progressing. He needs to be reminded that he is no longer in the amateurs. Kid has so much power in both hands, and is so explosive. Not only will he be a great champ someday, but he is exciting to watch.

          What if Gomez fails to reach his potential? I think Jesse Vargas vs Gomez would be more competitive since they both have similar styles.

                    x2; except i do feel where Juggernot is comming from.

                    I feel as tho after ur first 10 pro fights, MAX, u should b fighting strong, experienced, and respectable journey men.

                    If your not ready by then, you shouldnt have gone pro so early.

                    too bad most prospects dont share my standards
