He seems to be progressing better than his rival Frankie Gomez.
Golden Boy needs to see what the hell Top Rank is doing and why their prospects always progress better than theirs.

I noticed it too..the down side at top rank is that prospects are hardly ever challenged. Seriously...they seem to reach a point where there isnt anymore growth unlike at GBP. They always pit them against some tough fighters win or lose, as long as it's good. BTW Frankie is good bu for a pro he still needs to adjust. You no longer have head gear at this level buddy, better guard that head when you swing.

Yeah, they should take him nice and slow, though. He is just a kid, and he has all the talent in the world. If I had to guess I would say this prospect will turn out to be the real deal, not a dud like so many.

Kid is 19 years old, dude. This is how you bring a fighter along.

I'm well aware of the series of bums a prospect is fed to set the 'hype' foundation for his career.

My statement still stands, I don't give a flying burrito what he does until he fights someone who doesn't have a part-time job at Costco.
