i wonder if evander can still make cruiserweight? it would seem he'd have a better chance of breaking hopkin's record at that weight division.

Holyfield needs the money for sure but he is in this for the glory more I think. He could become a trainer or some kind of behind the sport business venture. He's addicted to the sport. Lets just hope that he will and can retire one day and live out his life happily.Comment

in his prime, holyfield beats both klitschkos. even the holyfield of today would be competitive. Not even in his prime, would Holyfield stand a chance at beating either brother, let alone the current version.
Only if Vitali had one hand tied behind his back and Holyfield's head was reinforced with titanium and headbutts were deemed legal by the sanctioning boxing commision, would Evander stand a shot at winning. Until then, Holyfield should hang 'em up and become a pastor or some other shit.Comment

listen, there are guys in the heavyweight top ten that i would give evander more than a favorable chance of beating.Listen, I respect what Evander has done but no way he beats anyone at Heavyweight anymore. He didn't beat Foreman's record and he damn well ain't going to beat Hopkins record. The only thing that might happen when watching him fight someone like Klitschko or a top guy is "Living In America" music and remembering what happened to Apollo's stubborn ass.Last edited by texasboi15; 06-12-2011, 11:00 AM.Comment

You're as delusional as Holyfield if you think that. Sultan Ibragimov beat him years ago, and Brags was whitewashed by Wlad in his very next fight.
And did you even see Holyfield's last fight?Comment

I wish Holyfield would retire, the guy was great 15 years ago but he is dangerously old to be fighting nowComment

Absolutely guys, The Holyfield of old was a great warrior with the heart of a lion.
Today's Holyfield is a deluded washed up fighter with all the hallmarks of a man who has taken several head punches too many.
Someone needs to call an end to his previously illustrious career before he suffers more damage.
