How can Bob say that Martinez doesn't sell PPV and then turn around and talk about Peter Manfredo?

Manfredo-Lacy was the lead in fight to Mayweather-Hatton on PPV and Peter's profile is much higher than Sergio's. He's fought the likes of Calzaghe and was one of the stars of the Contender. Sadly, there's more money in a Chavez-Manfredo fight than there is in Chavez-Martinez.

Co-sign, I think Rubio is the tougher fight but still winnable for Chavez Jr. IMO Manfredo is a glorified journeyman and looks good against B and C level comp but has never been able to get the signature win against a top guy. I think Jr. beats him easily...

If Manfredo was acceptable for Joe Calzaghe he should be acceptable for Chavez Jr.

He wasn't acceptable; Calzaghe took a lot of criticism for fighting Manfredo...

Ha ha ha... I mean, we're not putting him in a little too deep here? Are we? Even so, ESPN friday night at best.

Two C class level fighters fighting for a "title" live on HBO. Got to love it.

Top Rank's CEO, Bob Arum, has named Manfredo as one of the three frontrunners to face Chavez Jr. in the fall. Unbeaten Brit Darren Barker and mandatory challenger Marco Antonio Rubio are the other two possibilities for the 25-year-old Mexican champion.

I want Rubio, he is more deserving than thingy or thingy.

That would be a sick first up defence.
