Where did i say he didn't? I said he doesn't just go in winging punches and hoping for the best, he times his punches. Spray resistant can't tell the difference between the two.

Anything can happen and Wlad doesn't have a brick chin but if Haye can't get him out before 4 Wlad will have had enough time to adjust to Haye and get into his fight plan that he imposes on everyone for the usual Wlad fight.
I agree, Haye will have to jump on Wlad before he settles in and adjusts.

Wlad is skittish early, Haye needs to disrupt Wlad before he settles.

If you look up timing yourself you would know that it takes some technique to put that term to effective use in a boxing ring.

I watch the fights and would not describe either Haye's technique or timing which goes along with that as good even if he has plenty of ability which he relies on more than either timing or technique how ever you want to define it.

the choice, judgement, or control of when something should be done one of the secrets of cricket is good timing

The fact that Haye lands at an high percentage proves he has good timing.

Haye also runs the risk though of getting caught with a Wlad right early as well if he goes and tries to get him early but I think its what he needs to do and can win the fight that way if he does because Haye is a pretty finisher with a good killer instinct.

I am not real big on stats, I just watch the fights but it could also be indicative of his speed which he has in abundance.

Haha I lol'd. David Haye and this fight is just what the heavyweight division needs. Hopefully the fight lives up to expectations.

True, they will both be vulnerable early, but Haye has got to fight away from Wlad's strengths imho, or he has little chance.

Against a quicker, but smaller, puncher, Wlad will be looking to control the fight by establishing the perimeter with his jab, and to make Haye pay for his mistakes when he is open..... so that he can at least safely grind out a decision if he cant batter Haye down over the course of the fight.

But he will be wary of Haye's power, and he will take a couple of rounds to settle, as usual.

I say dont let him settle, dont let him establish the perimeter, and dont let him control the distance or the pace of the fight.

Haye may have to take a few risks in order to get his game going, because he does not want to spend the night impaled on the end of Wlad's jab.

The longer that fight goes, the less chance Haye will have imho.

My pick, Wlad by late TKO, if Haye cant get him out of there early..... Wlad.
