    Not particularly.

He can't use the sholder roll as effiecently whereas against an orthodox he uses it a huge bulk of the time.

But not really in all honesty.

      sort of.

I think hes more weak to southpaw right hooks than southpaws overall, since Corley caught him and hurt him with that punch a few times and Judah dropped him with it.

No, Floyd has obviously had his easiest nights with southpaws.

Hell no Floyd doesn't have problems with southpaws none of the fights have been competive.

I sincerely believe that Floyd will be most vulnerable in the first four rounds (regardless of the opponent).

The deeper they go into the fight, the more Floyd asserts his dominance over Ortiz.

I don't think Floyd struggles with southpaws so much as he struggles with speed and pressure. If Zab had not mentally collapsed as he tends to do, he would've been more competitive.

I've said it numerous times before:

-Oscar was up on the scorecards after the first four rounds of his fight with Floyd

-Hatton had Floyd uneasy with his quick footspeed and relentless, albeit reckless, pressure in the opening rounds

-JMM was able to land some decent shots in and even tagged Floyd with a great straight right in the second round.

-Mosley, enough said. The first two rounds were both for Mosley or at least one of them were. Mosley struck Floyd early with a massive bomb.

Which brings me to my next point: Ortiz straight left and right hook to the body will be his key weapons going into the fight. I'd be willing to bank more on a straight left finding its home, though, specially early on.

not so much that he has trouble with the southpaw style itself as he has trouble putting it togther against southpaws.

Fighters like floyd like to anticipate their opponents next move. So he sees the straight left coming but has to fight his own reflex of turning the opposite way. he adjusts eventually but those early lapses are what make it seem like he does to the untrained eye.

Ill tell you what floyd truly has problems with is speed and unconventionalism. Speed to get past floyd's one,two before he goes back into a shell and not being able to predict an opponents next move from being unconventional.
