no im not saying the fight will happen in the philippines but a wealthy promoter said that to my friend and his a reliable source so i believe this fight will happend..i also believe what roach says that ortiz is a tune up for manny, and jmm is also a tune up for manny.. this is all part of the dram.

I really would not doubt at all that Mayweather would fight Martinez at '54. Ortiz is a tough fight and he presents problems for Mayweather just with his size alone.

If Mayweather beats Ortiz soundly, I don't doubt that he punishes Pacquiao more by fighting Martinez, arguably the top fighter in the world.

So what? Shaw wanted angulo to face Cotto and Aurum said no.

Donaire wanted to face the winner of the Bantamweight tournament and Arum said no.

Sergio Martinez wanted to face Jr. but Aurum said HELL NO!

Roach is just coming out with this because Mayweather has the tougher opponent at hand. And plus...Golden boy would make more money on ortiz taking a fight with May rather than Paquiao.

Roach dosen't make any negotiations or deals with Promoters. If anything he would suggest an opponent to Aurum or the matchmaker. If anyone would know if Scheafer really said no it would be Bob arum. But I doubt any talks of that sort came about. Top Rank was already committed to Marquez.

Roach is full of mierda this time.

Because he'll take another legacy defining fight with Barrera as opposed to fighting Mayweather or Martinez, the only fighters boxing fans want him to fight.
