Yeah, I get the feeling that Golden Boy is trying to get rid of Ortiz and lost all confidence in him after the Maidana fight. When the Berto fight was announced he was the underdog and most figured he would lose and possibly KO'ed, then they throw him to Floyd when he has no experience fighting anyone even near that level at 25?

If he gets dominated again as most expect and DLH forbid, he quits again... what then? Seems like they're banking on Khan and Canelo to carry them in this decade and Ortiz is expendable.

GB for the most part is doing nothing but in house fighting too though.

      Floyd-Ortiz - in house
      Maidana-Morales - in house
      Guerrero-Katsidis - in house
Guerrero vs Maidana - in house
      etc etc etc

I do agree they put on better cards though. Bob is very sheisty with undercards.

Golden Boy isn't afraid to test their fighters. That's why they made Gayweather vs. Ortiz and that's why they were trying to make Khan vs. Bradley. Thats how it should be. Can't say the same with Top Rank, Pacquiao and Chavez Jr.

I agree 100% and you can tell by the way they have been matching Ortiz lately.

I don't see them giving Vic any fights that will help him improve/develop as a fighter.
