Bob Haram is a serpent's soul in a toad's body.

Just a disgusting person and a pox on the sport of boxing in general.

Don't be fooled. De La Hoya is just like every other promoter out there. He's gonna play the nice guy with Ortiz, but after that whole Maidana thing you can tell he has no hopes for him. He has high hopes for Khan, not him. Which is exactly why GBP made this fight. They don't think Ortiz will win, but they know this fight is gonna make them alot of money.

actually de la hoya believes vic will knock him out.

He has high hopes for khan and is putting him up against the best time after time even though he had a high chance to lose against maidana even higher chance to lose against bradely(even though bradely ducked him) and now against Judah.

you can't say de la hoya isn't keeping his word

You can say that, but also at the same time they were trying to make Khan vs Bradley aka the best possible fight, and Thats not a fight you push for, if your really trying to protect Khan. Not a sure thing at all.

Him having high hopes for Khan doesn't really mean he's trying to protect him. I give DLH that one quality that he trusts most of his fighters, but at the same time even Bob Arum had that quality, especially recently with Miguel Cotto.

I'm not saying what OP is saying is false. They do try to put on great fights for the fans, but so does Bob Arum from time to time.

????? Have you been paying attention to the fights they are putting up lately, absolutely craps on TR. Even if Ortiz loses his name becomes more marketable especially if he puts on a good showing. Win win situation for him, no shame losing to Mayweather.
