Saul Alvarez is a 20yo lawn-green JMW, are you even being serious?

        Not even close man.

Boxing uses weight divisions, do you think that maybe you could try also ?

        Just a suggestion.....
Mayweather is a welter, how about he fight the third best welter on the planet ?

Here's what is going to happen. If Floyd beats Ortiz and Manny beats JMM and Manny doesn't agree to the testing like his fans said he did. His credability will be shot to death. Now that Floyd is back, there should no excuse why Manny shouldn't say it to Floyd and the world that he wants to take the tests and fight. There is no other way out of this. Floyd's already fighting a guy Pac didn't want to, that is young, prime and coming off of a big win. He already makes Pac look suspect. If this fight doesn't happen next year because of the blood tests then it will be no way Pac will be able to shake this UNLESS Floyd doesn't press the issue. Mosley took it and now Ortiz but the supposedly P4P best fighter still refuses to take it? How could anyone cosign that?

EXACTLY. You are correct. Who is on floyd's level though? If people are saying Floyd shouldn't fight Ortiz, then who should Floyd fight then, if not Manny?

Ortiz did quit against Maidana but that was like 2 years ago. His last performance was a good one and he picked himself off of the canvas two times to come out on top and that's the performance everyone is remembering. The latest one. Don't be salty because Floyd is fighting him first, when Pac should have. Not anyone's fault that Pac likes to fight guys after Floyd beats them. It's his fault for wanting to outdo Floyd by fighting guys after they been exposed. 16 month layoff to come back and fight the #3 WW in the division. something the (supposedly) P4P best should be doing. Same with Mosley back in 09. Arum is about the money and he is pimp'n Pac and his Top Rank stable to get it.

Bob Arum basically said it is ok to Cherry pick your fights. If he feels like this about Ortiz then you know how he felt about Miguel Cotto. Oh, you don't..... well lets ask Arum some years ago.....

"We're looking for guys like Ricky Hatton and 'Pretty Boy' Floyd Mayweather. So you're seeing now the finishing touches on the emerging superstar, and in 2006 hopefully he will be able to claim the mantle of the real, real superstar."

Hatton emerged as the recognized 140-pound champion with his TKO of Kostya Tszyu June 11. Mayweather, the pound-for-pound king who is also promoted by Arum, stopped Arturo Gatti to claim a junior welterweight title two weeks later.

Cotto against either man would certainly qualify as a super fight, but before either match can be explored seriously, he has to keep winning." Bob Arum.
Hatton and Cotto were at the Gatti fight because they were supposed to be next up. Bob always had this philosophy.

ranking doesnt always equate to reality. fact still remains ortiz got beat by a one dimensional fighter. Dont make ortiz something he isnt just for you to **** ride floyd. He got beat by maidana who almost lost to an old morales. put some perspective into your nuthugging.
