It's too premature, if Ortiz loses then his potential to earn more is gone. Fans loves this kind of fight but the outcome is Ortiz may retire poor! Fans will be happy but the loser will not benefit from it. What will happen to Ortiz after boxing???

With Arum's style of promoting his fighters and Champs....he milks them....he cooks them well then let them simmer for a while then serve's them right....Arum get's rich and so does his Champs....just look at Delahoya, MayRunner, Cotto and Pacquiao....they got rich at Arum's stable....and so will Chavez Jr....their life after boxing will be secured!

Anyone knows of any other fighter that got rich and stayed a millionaire under the promotions of GBP, Shaw, diBella, King, etc.?
when Ortiz loses to Floyd, he'll be fine because pacquiao will fight him next, lol. He still got Berto rematch, Maidana rematch, Bradley, Alvarez, morales. Vicious Vic Will be fine!

Seriously who the fawk here thinks ortiz has chance.

Makes matter worse, Ortiz only fought at WW once and against someone who some/most thought was untested (Berto). Ortiz is a solid/okay fighter that needs polish before he can step into a ring with someone like floyd

If Ortiz loses he will be degraded......he'll earn less....he's half-cooked..... It's too premature to face a high earning opponent in Floydie or Pacman coz the bigger bulk of cash goes to those two. He should have been gradually built-up after winning the belt....then he could have ask for a much bigger payday.

What happened to Floyd won't fight a young southpaw? Bobby was on here a couple of days ago spewing some **** about he couldn't get Floyd to fight a southpaw much less a young one that could punch while he was with TR. Now Ortiz has no chance. Oh Bobby piss down my back and tell me its raining. You have to respect Bobby's gangster ways though, he just don't give a ****.

Arum might be right but there was no way in hell that Margarito and Mosley were ready or deserving of a fight with Manny. Yet, it happened
