    OK I will be serious~

    1) That was a very different sort of fight

    2) Mayweather should beat him pretty badly but the physical damage should not be horrendous unless Floyd feels the need to punish him which is kind of dumb because it benefits Floyd more if Ortiz can have a solid career after.

    3) Now there is the problem of the mental side and Ortiz even though he has did well in that regard against Berto you could raise questions about how he can stand up to what Floyd brings on that side of the game. That could break Ortiz especially if Floyd really wants it to but that is far from certain and Ortiz if he can hang could gain a huge boost.

There is NO shame in losing to Mayweather...At all!!! After this fight Ortiz will still be Top Name in the Sport (among young Stars/Talent). And beating guys like Alfonso Gomez, Selcuk Aydin will put him back in the mix for fight against a Mike Jones and other belt holders. This is by NO means sacrificing Ortiz. In fact this is GBP putting him on the "Big Stage". And if he performs well....then the sky is the limit.

I don't know if I could put together a better string of fights that would attempt to restore Ortiz's image as a draw and as a relevant player in the division if/when he loses to Mayweather Jr. Gomez is a tough guy, but should be an easy night for Ortiz as a bounce back after a loss (see what Cotto did to him, I doubt a fight with Ortiz would be terribly different), then Aydin, a mid level guy still in or dealing with the remains of his prospect phase, meaning he is still pretty green, plus he's the WBC silver belt holder, which gives him some credibile in the minds of fans, and finally Mike Jones (who will probably have a belt as a result of fighting for the vacant WBC title that will be vacated when Ortiz loses and Mayweather Jr. refuses to pay the sanctioning fee for it). Well done!

Your name explains it all really. Nothing you mentioned matters because it's not at an ideal weight class for it to be competitive.
