FWIW, I've always noticed Rios' respect for his opponents, before and after the fight (even at the official instructions staredown he seems subdued and unassuming).

That's why I said that I don't think the things he says that people find offensive/inappropriate are really felt or thought out.

He seems to like people a lot, and I like what I've seen of him as a character. He's wild and a rascal and maybe a bit irascible, but loveable.
