      yet
they give Manny all the props for fighting past prime non defensive fighters then waiting until JMM has been in two wars with Diaz and one with Katsidis where he was visibly stunned to fight him at a weight he doesnt look good at nor is he comfortable with and pac is still given all the credit in the world?

people are asking floyd to fight martinez so why cant manny
manny has been in the prime these past years and he has yet to face a prime fighter?
kinda shady if you ask me
and for the record I fooken hate Floyd mayweather!
"THEY" that are giving him the props ... ONLY give him props and hate all other boxers that aren't name Manny!

it was so obvious the coward the duck maynever was going to fight this year. why wouldn't he when he could be promoted by golden boy and make tons of undeserving millions. His last five fights have all been against golden boy fighters and and maynever fans say that all of pac's fights are in house. this fight is sad for boxing when you got the number two real p4p champ sergio martinez waiting for maynever. Both maynever and pac made there superstar name off of oscar before that maynevers biggest payday was 8mil against baldomir in 06 when he turned down margarito for a dollar less(DUCKED). Im expecting coward the duck to try to get a ko in this fight because he believes he is a bigger guy and puncher than maidana and he knows that ortiz can be floored.

Yeah... this won't happen. How do you expect Pac to knock out some who actually has defense and won't stand right in front of him? oscar, clottey, cotto, margo, hatton = ZERO DEFENSE. mosley fought going backwards - not even known for his Defense AND HE HAD BLISTERS AND COULD BARELY MOVE - and Pac STILL couldn't get to him and knock his ass out!

Pac only out-does Floyd when it's beneficial to him. Shane and DLH were basically finished after they fought Floyd. As much as people try to ignore it, Pac's opponents from Diaz to Mosley were either overrated/undeserving or "damaged" in some way. They build up such drama, trying to make us believe that Pac is going up against such tough opposition, trying to give credibility to these lackluster fights. However, he just walks right through whoever they put in front of him lol. It's not his fault right? He's just doing what he's paid to do.

Hatton was the most legitimate win, getting KO'ed in his own weight class. Aside from Hatton, it has been a catch-weight fiasco lol. Has there ever been a fighter in the history of boxing who has used catch-weights as effective as Pacquiao does? But, it ain't his fault, it's his ****** opponents who keep agreeing to the foolishness.

Pac will never fight Martinez. They'll use every excuse they can which is fine. I'd rather see Floyd fight Martinez than Pac, seeing as they are more comparable in size. He who fights Martinez cannot be outdone by the other, especially if they get the victory. I would like to see Pac fight Bradley or Khan though. But I'm sure people will come and say "Pac will beat them EASY, what's the point?" or some dumb **** like that. We know that Mayweather has more ability than Ortiz, doesn't mean he shouldn't get a chance.

i bet this is at 147 not catch weight..... at least floyd fights good fighters at correct weight instead of starvingt fighters to bring them down to smaller weights. good choice of fight for the public to see.
to be a superstar you must beat a superstar at there weight not yours.
              good choice mayweather......

Don't get me wrong Ortiz is a greater fighter, but just before the Berto he was labeled a "quitter." Last time I checked Marquez won his last 2 fights...is considered #4 P4P in Yahoo Sports & Ring Magazine.
Which makes Floyd beating him that much bigger a deal, using your logic I mean.

Floyd was the first guy to fight Shane after Shane almost completely blew out the believed-unstoppable Antonio Margarito.

Floyd fought Hatton when Hatton was 1. Undefeated 2. After Hatton was coming off a 4th round KO victory over the opponent That gave Floyd the most trouble, Jose Luis Castillo.

Floyd was the first man ever to beat, and stop Diego Corrales. Floyd took this fight 4 months after Corrales had defeated previous Mayweather opponent, Angel Manfredy almost as quickly as Floyd had.

Oh, and he's fighting Victor Ortiz after Ortiz is coming off the biggest win of his career, a 12 round decision victory over previously unbeaten Andre Berto.

In short, I have no idea What the **** you're talking about.

Floyd legacy will always be tainted unless he will be man enough to fight Manny Pacquiao.
