i cant stand *******s but floyd fans really be fronting when it comes to backing up their boy. just saying........ i aint mad at this fight. would have liked to see him fight sergio instead but w.e. vic is gonna get taken to school so im not that hype about it. and that #2 ww stuff is true but garbage. berto was the #2 ww before he lost so that doesnt mean much to me. pacquiao o martinez is what i wanted for floyd buthey, it is what it is.

Get real. U sound as foolish as the fan boys who try to discredit every move pac makes. This was the best possible fight that floyd could have made bar none. Martinez wa never a serious option and anyone who thought differently should slap themselves. Who exactly was floyd supposed to fight? I give floyd **** plenty on here but let's be honest. This was a mans move and he deserves mad props for it. This fight is light years better then his last two. Ortiz is an active south paw with power, he s young and hungry, not to mention he's a legit 147 not some little guy. Will he beat floyd? No. Then again who not named pac has a real shot at beating floyd? This is a great fight and it SHOULD be a nice warm up for the real fight we all wanna see.

If anyone has a better option then ortiz im all ears. Martinez isn't an "option" he's a wet dream. And just like ur other wet dreams it isn't happening. Unless martinez finds a way to NOT have a 15-30 pound advantage on fight night he s not even CLOSE to a viable option for floyd or pacquiao.

Like I said before, while I do want to see Floyd vs. Manny, I wouldn't have a problem with either facing Bradley, Ortiz, Khan, Martinez...those are credible opponents. Atleast Floyd is facing one out of the 4 mentioned.

I already know the winner. Ortiz offers no challenge.

Pretty much gives Ortiz some money and offers him his first taste of high level competition.

Let's just get the record straight. Berto was not elite competition. He was overrated.
and you don't know the winner of Pac-Marquez?

                      Please name him.
                      1. I never said that Ortiz was a bad pick. I said that Ortiz was a cherrypick.

                      2. I like the fight regardless, but don't overrate it. #2 WW doesn't mean **** right now. Clottey was top 5 WW when Pac fought him. Mosley was top 5 WW when Pac fought him. Berto was #2 WW.

Ortiz is a good tune-up but that's about all he is. He's not on Mayweather or Pac's level. He's probably not even on Amir Khan's level.

                      Props for Mayweather coming back.
