Putting everything else aside there isn't many better fights at his weight. Bradley maybe. Khan? About the same. He won't go up to 154 again. I doubt it at least. It's about all we've got right now. Cotto fight would have been interesting but still way too late.

at least he's not weight drained or coming from a loss..everytime pac fights the opponent looks like he spent the last 3 months in intensive care.

        Number 2 WW?

He's only had one fight there, which he won tooth and nail against Berto who was just stepping up his level of competition.

It's okay though burner. I know you hug Floyd's nuts voraciously to ignore all the faults in this pick. Ignore all of Floyd's little hypocrisies.

Your argument applied to Pac at the time of choosing Mosley too, but you ignore that.Forget that Floyd and Pac are now doing basically the same thing.

Cherrypicking. Ortiz is barely a WW champ and will now have it snatched away.

Mayweather is such a vulture haha

Outside of Pacquiao, who has already turned down a fight with mayweather, which WW opponent would you rather see Floyd fight?

So who should he fight? Clottey? Margarito? Shane Mosley again? or perhaps floyd should fight against Marquez for the rematch at 145?

I agree, he could have fought Robert Guerrero or Marcos Maidana.

                    Let's be fair.

Pac is already booked for Marquez III, and Sergio makes both Mayweather and Pac look the other way.

At 147, I can't think of anyone better than Ortiz at the moment, even though I think he isn't quite ready for a fighter of Mayweather's caliber.

At least Floyd is fighting a young, prime fighter and is finished with his vacation.
