If JMM/Pac was at 140 I would pick that one but not at 147

If it was JMM vs Pacquiao at 140 or 135, i would pick their fight, unfortunely PAC choose to fight at a advantage again.

Pac fans give up, your favoriite promoter Arum and Pacquiao had every chance to give you guys a good fight, could have been Pac vs JMM at 140, Ortiz, Martinez, Bradley, or even BERTO, but no they choose a advantage fight.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that. Looking at things in the larger scheme, this may play out in an interesting fashion.

Face it, there's no true doppelganger for either Floyd or Manny, that's just the way it is. they are extremes to their craft.

that being said, Floyd is fighting a reasonable alternative to Manny with Ortiz. He's a lefty, is quick, and hits hard...but not as quick or hard hitting as Manny. Good matchup.

On the other end, you have Manny against Marquez. Good counterpuncher with reasonable boxing skills...either him or Zab Judah are reasonable alternatives to Mayweather. Of course, neither are close to mayweather as well.

The main point is, these two matchups offer a possible sneak peek at the greater matchup that could result.

As such, these matchups don't suck, but could only add fuel to the fire.

            my 2 cents.

I think everyone expected that Marquez vs Pacquiao 3 would be at 140 or 135....not the SAME WEIGHT CLASS that they said he was bloated against Mayweather.

Both fights are **** to me.. But Floyd-Ortiz is a stylistic, level fight mismatch to me.. At least there is a history between JMM-Pac.. Both fights were FOTY candidate...And stylistically its 50/50 between Pac and JMM...

Regardless of weight, Marquez has a better shot @ beating Pac than Ortiz does @ beating Money, but i'm still more interested in the Money-Ortiz fight.

                    Hmmmmm...

One is a catch weight fight with a man juiced up, and the other will be fair (no b.s catch weight), and ALL NATURAL!

                    Hard to choose....

mayweather/ortiz, and it's not even close.
ortiz is coming off his biggest win, has youth and power to him, while jmm is going up in weight and isn't getting any younger. i love both pac and jmm, but this third fight is a little too late imo, plus i don't want to see a bloated jmm come fight night
