He has a punchers chance. Floyd should beat the kid half to death though. Ortiz has no jab at all. You cant just walk at Floyd throwing hooks hed counter you all night. Ortiz will have his spots but he will get most likely Gatti'd.

He has a very good chance. Floyd is old now. His legs looked stiff against Mosley. His reflexes aren't what they use to be (even though still amazing)

Biggest thing is this is the first live body he fought in a very long time. Mosley and Marquez could barely move. Not only is Ortiz a live fighter, he has big punching power, and throws combos.

Ortiz will be in a comfort zone because Floyd will allow him to come forward. I wouldn't bet against Floyd.

But this is the kind of fight you look back on and go, damn, Floyd ain't what he use to be.

            Victor beat Berto people.
Berto who was green and fought bums his entire career.

            Now he is fighting Mayweather.
Not on Floyds worst day would Victor beat him.

Style wise this will be an action packed fight because Victor is tough and comes to fight.
Floyd just has too many tricks and too much skill for the the young pup.

His legs looked stiff against who? Dont buy so much into what Roach says. He didnt need his legs against Shane Mosley.

He wont need them against Ortiz either. Ortiz isnt the type of fighter you have to pin down, cut the ring off and corner.

This kid was getting outboxed by Peterson at times. Floyds right hand and jab will control the fight and the distance. Victor will have somem good times but will get the hell beat out of him.

Can, But wont , Floyd Freezes out his Opponent, Every fighter he faces usually has a Game plan coming in, then he makes his opponent wait and wait.........and wait....next thing you know Floyd Opponent is fighting Floyds Fight , Your best chance against Floyd is in the first 3 rounds while he waiting around trying to figure you out ..after that it's pretty much a wrap.

One thing i will say Berto Put Ortiz on his Ass and Berto is no where near the overall Boxer Floyd is , Berto is a One arm boxer (Just wants to set up his right all fight) and nowhere near the defense Floyd has, Berto is pretty much a very watered down version of Floyd ...

Berto got his ass handed to him but Berto had his Moments in the fight , and Floyd is So much better On Offense and Defense and just far smarter than Berto, i Never was into Berto because i just saw a guy with Good QUickness but a One Armed Fighter .

Ortiz Will try to be calm to start with, then become over agressive, Floyd Will Tie him up as always then eventually start countering him to death and then Ortiz gets frustrated...

exciting fight... ortiz is a young fresh fighter, but 1 thing is floyd is gonna counter him quite easily as berto did. i dont think this is going to last, mayweather by ko maybe on 10th. ortiz got a chance with a lucky punch if he goes raging bull on floyd

The first three rounds should be interesting, Ortiz is a quick starter and Mayweather has to adjust, I expect a Mayweather win but Ortiz could pull it off. An excellent fight though.
