it all depends on what kind of power he brought up to 147... because he won't out skill him..

I mean how many Floyd fights have you guys seen? You guys acts like he needs to use his legs in order to box peoples head off.

Look at James Toney. No legs. Still was hard to hit as hell.

He can. But it's highly unlikely unless Mayweather shows some serious slippage.

Look, Ortiz drew with Lamont Peterson in his fight before last, last year.

Christ sake, everyone is hyped on the back of him beating Berto but Berto was a paper champ.

This is more depending on Mayweather showing a decline after another year off, but I'll say Ortiz has a chance. I sure as hell am not expecting him to win though.

He wont need them against Ortiz either. Ortiz isnt the type of fighter you have to pin down, cut the ring off and corner.

This kid was getting outboxed by Peterson at times. Floyds right hand and jab will control the fight and the distance. Victor will have somem good times but will get the hell beat out of him.
Not saying it cuz roach said it, they legitimately looked stiff to me. Not gone by any means. But def didn't have the foot speed and bounce I'm use to seeing from Floyd.

I'm not calling Ortiz great by any means. But you can argue that he's the biggest legit threat to Floyd RIGHT NOW, as almost any has been in his career.

I don't think hoy a or hatton were as legit threats as Ortiz is now, even gate was way overmatched.

Not that Floyd Is older, game done changed a bit. He's not prime no more.

Beat the kid to death? WTF?? Now May is this monster that "beats kids to death"?lol
