Comparing this to coming off a leftover or coming off a draw.

Ortiz is coming off a win against a top fighter in a weight-class where Floyd is going to fight him. Neither Marg, Mosley, Clottey, or JMM came off a win against a top fighter in the weight-class that Pac fought/will fight them. Big difference.

Ortiz at WW>Clottey/JMM/Mosley at WW, and over Mart at 150.

    It is what it is.

Hopefully Pac-JMM III PPV flops like Mosley perhaps did. And, in 2012 we will see Pac go back and fighting top fighters like he did in his 08-09 run.

Because, Floyd -even though is once a year- 2010-2011 run has been better than Pac run.
I don't come on this site much, but I like your takes. Plus, your quotes at the bottom of your sig make me laugh every time I read them.

He's not green. He's prime right now. He just can't compete with Floyd or Pac. But, Mayweather gets a +1 for this fight and Mosley fight last year.

He's run from 2010-2011 even though it just once a year is better than Pac run during that time.

Funny how this being a 'tuneup' for Floyd is actually better than anything Pacquiao has done in ages. To be Frank, its quite embarrassing, I'd say.

So your sayin that a fighter who got KO'd at the lower weights are actually better fights than Clottey/Marg/Mosley.. If those 3 fought Ortiz, who would you bet your money on...

This is also a better fight than anything Mayweather has done in ages. What's your point? Just be happy that the fight is made, and hope that it leads to a Mayweather-PAC fight in '12.

How is that so? Because Ortiz beat Berto? If the roles are reversed Mayweather fans would point out his fights with Peterson and Maidana as to how easy of a fight it would be for Pacquiao. Yet because it's Floyd, it's coo since he's fighting the #3 Welterweight and is a legit fight?
