NO WAY...... Cotto at 145 coming off of a hard fought fight with Clottey? Clottey who lost to Cotto prior? Margarito who was suspended for trying to cheat and unranked in the 154 division but still fought for a vacant title at a catchweight? Victor Ortiz beats and unbeaten, prime champion at 147 in a dominate fashion. no way dude, sorry but you are hallucinating or just plain hating. Victor Ortiz is ranked #3 in the WW division. where was Clottey and Cotto when Pac fought them? Margarito wasn't even ranked in his own division. Think Cotto was a great fight for Pac at 145? If Ortiz is such a left over coming off of a dominate performance like that against Berto in a new division for him then what would you call Pac's opponents after 2008? Pac's opponents looked like real left overs. Ortiz looked like a hungry, primed champion. Big difference.

Cotto,Hatton, and Oscar are all 50/50 fights going in.. You cannot say the same with Ortiz-Floyd and JMM-Floyd. You have to be objective. If you can criticize Clottey, Marg, and Mosley then you better goddamn criticize this fight otherwise you are just nuthugging..

he fought an average fighter, got dropped but still won

he got his ass whooped by a decent fighter in maidana and was tk0d, also looked awful vs peterson and almost lost, escaped with a draw

Marg, and Cotto looked great because they fought tune-up fights before they fought Manny.. Cotto looked great against Jennings, and Marg against Martinez in Mexico.. Whats your point.. Doesnt make Ortiz better than this 2 fighters..

MOSTLY EVERYONE with exception to me wanting to see a competitive fight had Pac beating Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and Mosley rather easily. I knew Floyd would beat JMM and I'm picking Floyd to win against Ortiz but both them guys were and are coming off of dominate wins. Pac ain't done that in a loooooonnnng time. With exception to Hatton over Malignaggi.

If Pacquiao's opponents were leftovers coming off losses/draws then so is Ortiz. Can't have it both ways.
