    Awesome

I am a HUGE PBF hater. However, you have to give credit where credit is due. This is a tough fight, and I commend PBF for taking it. This is a very good fight for boxing, and will be Floyd's toughest fight in quite awhile. I expect Floyd to win this fight, and I will give him complete credit when he prevails.

I am hoping that this is a "tune-up" for a 2012 clash with PAC. Hard hitting southpaw? I am now more optimistic about a PAC-PBF fight happening...

If Ortiz is such a left over coming off of a dominate performance like that against Berto in a new division for him then what would you call Pac's opponents after 2008? Pac's opponents looked like real left overs. Ortiz looked like a hungry, primed champion. Big difference.

Well having had one thread deleted and the other locked, I am forced to discuss my views on the 17th page of this crappy thread...

Anyway, imo an in-debt Mayweather sees a weak opponent he can make money from while undergoing minimal risk. It also gives him a chance to yap on about Pac tests etc. A smart business decision perhaps but a poor one for the fans of boxing, this is an easy payday and that's why this opponent was selected.

Cotto, Margarito, Pacquiao, Martinez would all happily have faced Mayweather but he opportunistically opts for Ortiz.

and Johnm, I don't normally engage in insults on here, but screw you son. I'm entitled to my opinion on the fight even if it offends your sensibilities and it has naff-all to do with Ricky Hatton. As a boxing fan I'm disappointed by this match-up, it's not one anyone wanted to see.

Let's see the signed contract first

Before y'all jump on that bridge, check the contract first.

So you think Floyd didn't see the Maidana fight, or the Peterson fight, we know he was ringside when Ortiz hit the deck several times against Berto.

              Stop it.

Hopefully this will be a tune up for PBF/Martinez. Like I always said:
**** PAC"S WHACK ASS!!!!!!!! Floyd don't need no tune up for him.
