Now this is a fight!!! I cant stand the personality of either guy but this is a real fight unlike the garbage concert fan shows u see with pacroid. On every level this is 10x a better fight than pacs last 6 , its funny how pac can fight 10 times , but mayweather will take these long layoffs and fight 1 time and it blows pacs 10 out of the water! I was just sayin the same thing to my brother - that I think after seein this fight signed, u gotta think there is a better chance at Floyd-Pac in '12. If all Floyd cared about was $$$, he would not be takin this fight. He couldve found an easier fight where he wudve genereated 1 million PPV buys and guaranteed his undefeated records stays in tact. Wheras this fight will do 1.3-1.4 mil but is tougher than any fight outside Manny.
Also funny to see someone complainin that he should be fightn Cotto. 1st off Cotto is at 154, y would mayweather move up, he makes 147 easy, and only fought at 154 for de la hoya the one time, b/c it was the only way to get de la hoya in the ring. Plus the same people sayin he shudv fought Cotto wouldv said he's pickn on another past his prime figher, just like Mosely, and duckin a good young fighter like Ortiz.
As I said abouve - Im a Pacquiao fan, but I call it like I see it. And I giv Mayweather a lot of credit for this fight. For those sayin he'll out box him easy - well if he does, that's only bc floyd is a such a great fighter, not bc ortiz is an easy fight

How can you put this fight down. Other than Pac-Floyd (obviously) this is the toughest fight floyd couldve taken.. Some people find anythin 2 complain about. I actually read blogs yesterday that Martinez is a cherry-picker after fighting Williams, Pavlik, Williams, Dzinziruk the past year and a half. Some people are never happy.
I am not a floyd fan at all, and like Manny a lot more. BUT Ortiz is a tougher fight than Pac's last 3 opponents of Clottey, Margarito and Mosely
