no1 was impressed and no1 expected much from chavez a puncher will put his lights out and guess what cotto is a puncher and a boxer that fights smart and is an elite fighter ppl say he lost a step but no he actually went back to doing what he does best back to the body and jab he beat two strong guys one that would ko chavez easy in mayorga cotto was way smaller then yuri and mayorga and beat them easy

I would never say boxing is easy no matter how bad the competition is. However, is not the size of Jr that gives him the advantage, is the subpar competition he faces.

I have seen about 7 of his fights and its always the same thing. of course you wont take a knee if the person that hits you does not hurt you. lets see alfonso gomez is as mexican as they come and he took a knee.
so what, that does not make him any less of a man. I am sure YOU or I would take a knee too. If we fought some one like cotto.

how do you know that? I would never do that unless I couldn't hold my balance.and thats what Gomez did,he was hurt but Cotto was just gassed .there's a big difference in this.but anyway Cotto saying he wasn't impressed was a ****** thing to say.he is entitled to his own opinion and that was mine regarding his.

Sometimes I get on here after coming back from a hard days work just to get riled, maybe get a few laughs from these Pro Chavez dolts. Clearly, some of you people are mad. Chavez JR doesn't need this fight right now, in fact if I were him I'd have much rather settled for Martinez. Atleast that way he'd get put to sleep early good and proper, rather than having to endure a long agonizing war with Cotto the way he struggled to put down Zbik. How do you figure he'll take Cotto's best shots to the head and body with the type of defense he put on display last Saturday? Even in the event that Chavez came in at 300 pounds, Cotto would still make Chavez look like a fool...You'd see one guy stalking the whole night while the other tees off with every opportunity he gets. You'll see how Jr backs off once he tastes genuine power.

Cotto even admits that he would be taking this fight strictly for the money and not to prove greatness. So why can't his stans admit that too? The only chance I give Chavez is if he can take Cotto's punches to go along with his weight advantage. Cotto is taking the path of least resistance to the title just like Fantastic said and there is just no other way around it.
