Cotto ****ed up Arums plans, and now Arums kept him away from the actual great fights out there (Angulo, Cintron, Martinez) in order to either make the Margarito rematch PPV or find another young Top Rank fighter to feed him to.

Cotto is going to be outweighed by 20lbs on fight night if he fights Chavez. Of course he could still and very well might win, but I hate to see -another- big fight made where all the cards are shameless stacked against one fighter.

this is prizefighting. its all about making money. it would be relevant if he was near or at the top of his game along with those others guys. there's nothing riding in those fights for him. I don't buy the smoke and mirrors. I've not been confident in any of his fights since that **** foreman fight. he's not a top fighter anymore, and i wouldn't expect him to beat chavez at all. he might s well cash in on the whole pr/mexico since its makes a **** load of cash.
