Nothing JCC can do is going to make a difference, if Jr. is going to become a world beater its not going to happen until hes probably 30 years old. Hes lacking in experience and theres no fix for that other than getting out there and fighting.

I disagree, I think Roach has tried to make him into a tall fighter and use his length from the outside. It's just not as easy as you might think, especially with a kid that started boxing so late and never had an amateur fight in his life.

People sometimes dismiss amateur experience but IMO I think that's what teaches defense more than anything else. Amateur style teaches defense because it's all about hit and not get hit.

I think Roach is trying but like the old saying says, "You can't teach an old dog new tricks" and Chavez starting so late makes him an old dog.

Yeah it just a pure accident that Roach has trained 28 world champions

Great! I wanna see the first disagreement between roach and JCC over chavez overruling roachs instructions... It will go something like this:

Roach: alright im the owner of this gym, i have the final word...
                JCC: *wham!*
                ariza: Hey!
                JCC: *wham!*
                vanes: stop it!
                JCC: *wham!*

                30 minutes later

Roach ariza and vanes: what the hell happened??

                Koncz: you got p'wned! Duh!

Roach isn't that good as a trainer(neither is manny steward). Freddy is all offense. I don't see that much change in any of his fighters.

There will be no interference, Roach runs a tight ship and let's remember, it was Jr who came to Roach, not the other way around.

If Roach is overrated then who is a better coach or trainer that isn't overrated and one dimensional?
