COTTO WILL MAKE THE DECISION BASED ON THE FINANCIAL NUMBERS, meaning that he picked Mayorga instead of actually fighting someone with a pulse at 154. All these tune ups after tune ups are based on Cotto's decision. Apart from 147, dude hasn't really done jack if you look at it.

The only saving grace for fight fans is that Arum comes to the realization that he runs the huge risk of Chavez being exposed by a chump, therefore he might as well put him in front of a money maker like Cotto or Alvarez or Pacquiao and give the kid (and himself) a HUGE payday in a loss. If Zbik made this supposedly improved version of Chavez look ordinary imagine what a bonified Middleweight will do. Chavez was a Cruiserweight on fight night and he still had all he could work with in Zbik. In Cotto, Arum can hedge a bet, it's a win win. Cotto wins and the Margo fight is HUGE, they can fight for Cotto's belt and everyone makes money. Yet still because Cotto's best days were at Jr Welter he gives his Cruiserweight mascarading as a middleweight a decent shot at continuing his win streak and continuing to be the cash cow he is, not to mention the paper champ for the WBC. It's a win win for Arum regardless.

Whatever the case may be, the day will come when Chavez will have to face the music and fight Martinez, PWill, Angulo, Cotto, Alvarez, or Pavlik. And when that happens he loses all those fights.

I wouldn't even be surprised if Mayweather decides to fight Jr at 160. Jr brings that much money to the table.
