On the defense I thought he was a little more open than previously. He took too many shots I dont think he would have taken 3-4 years ago. So reflexes might have eroded a bit. Either that or maybe he was so eager to show the american viewers a dazzling display of offensive powerpunching that he neglected defense against the lightpunching Brouadla.

Infighting still looks a problem as I thought the smaller man made the better work on the inside catching Kessler with one particular good looking left hand.

Now this was only a comeback/tuneup fight and as such it was a very good performance as Kessler showed he is ready for Bute or Stieglitz and judged from that point of view I'd give the dane a B+.

Pretty much my thoughts as well.

Is he going to fight a tune up before Bute?(if that fight is happening still)

        Good post.

I was impressed with how Kessler looked. Sure Brouadla is not world class..but he wasn't meant to be..just a tune up. Brouadla was also game and landed his own shots of his own. Kessler was good with his jab, displayed some solid body work and was active through out the rounds.

Good performance by Mikkel Kessler. Look forward to seeing him next time!

Was quite impressed with him. He boxed well and used his range to dominate his opponent, Kessler has an underrated jab to. I fancy Kessler to knock out Bute.

Might have done a little too well for his own good IMO. Now Bute will never face him. They were interested when they thought he was on the decline.
