#2: Martinez calling out pac is not like pac calling out a bantamweight. Is like pac calling out a lightweight...WAIT...He is fighting a LIGHTWEIGHT this year isn't he?

kick rocks foo and know your weight classes.
Cant win an argument with Pac fans man. Just dont go there. If Pac fans dont want Martinez calling out their boy then he should not have tried to claim a belt in Martinez's weight class. At the same time they will protect Arum cause if they dont then his selection for Pac fights will be deminished because of the poor quality he fought.

Lets just stick to Martinez trying to get this overhyped clown who is living off his fathers name in the ring. Oh yeah and by the way CCJr came in 20 lbs heavier so he will be bigger than Martinez

This is simple. Martinez knows he can beat the **** out of Chavez Jr, so he wants to pick up a big paycheck and humiliate the son of the legend all in one night. However, this will not happen. Chavez Jr. and Arum will avoid Martinez like the plague and pick the fight with Cotto, a smaller opponent. Cotto still beats his ass too, but in their minds Cotto is too small, so Chavez Jr. has a shot. A potential victory over Cotto will launch him into mainstream world of the "not so hardcore crowd of Boxing" therefore making him a bigger sell in the future. So in Arum and Papa Chavez utopian world this is what is going to happen. Chvez Jr will get the help from the WBC in order to avoid maravilla for the rest of his life and then he will fight Cotto and win. He will then become famous and beat everybody from 160-175. BUT what will happen is this. WBC will allow him to dodge this fight, have him fight Cotto and Cotto will end his dreams and shatter his ribs on his way to a UD(my world).

but hey, they're in the same weight class so its not a cherrypick
He uses his feet for wat? He doesn't fight going backwards. He puts up a shoulder roll but he's not at all difficult to hit. He doesn't throw a lot and when he does, its not anything hard at all. He's not exactly hard to hit, even Jacobs tagged him pretty good. He poses absolutely no threat to Martinez. What am I not seeing? Wat? He's elusive? That'd all anyone can say about the guy.

I can assure you Celaya, Loriga, Rowland and Lyell are world class fighters. At least, they were before they stepped into the ring with the undisputed middleweight champion of this world.

on a side note...its a shame that martinez is calling out pac, will outweight pac by about 30lbs on fight nite...which is like pac calling out the best bantamweight for a fight...like i said, martinez needs to move up to supermiddleweight, where the weight difference wouldnt be as big...and that martinez will be the one weighing less than his opponant
Well, Martinez is looking for a pay day and Jr. has a name plus a belt. So why shouldn't they fight? Martinez already left Pac alone and people STILL bring that up. And if anyone should be thinking about moving up in weight, it's Chavez Jr. When you rehydrate past the Light Heavyweight limit for a Middleweight fight, that's a sign.

undisputed middleweight champion of the world. Martinez is the true champ who beat the man (Pavlik) who beat the man (Taylor) who beat the MAN (Hopkins) who is the only guy to have ever unified all 4 belts at once (although others, like Calzaghe at 168, should have but got stripped before they could)
