Comments Thread For: Salido vs Juanma Rematch Could Land in Las Vegas

The rematch between WBO featherweight champion Orlando Salido and former belt-holder Juan Manuel Lopez could end up in September when they celebrate Independence Day in Mexico. It is expected that in the coming weeks Orlando Pinero, manager of Juanma, will reach some form of an agreement on his part and they will inform the public. Salido stopped Lopez in April to capture the title in a big upset in Puerto Rico.

wherever they fight Juanma better come correct because hes not gonna just be able to blast Salido out of there.
he needs a better game plan than throw bombs until the other guy doesnt get up anymore

            Vegas would be like Mexico.

JuanMa's people wanted it in PR, go figure.

It's a good thing JuanMa lost. Not that I wanted him to lose. At least now, we would be seeing him fight elsewhere but Puerto Rico. This time, hometown decision wouldnt be that predictable as it was in most of JuanMa's past fights.

Next time try to do some research before commenting..Because the fight against Salido was Juanma's 10th world title fight & out of those 10 only 4 were in Puerto Rico(including his last fight, which he lost) & ONLY 1 of those fights he won by decision & that fight wasn't even in Puerto Rico..All the rest were by KO(including his lost against Salido)..
