David Diaz, Clottey, Larios and Mosley got Pac fights. Arum is just being a hypocrite. The fact that Martinez sint a PPV star has nothing to do with him not fighting him. WE, you and I both know that its because hes beastly and Arum rather keep his top guys like Pac, Pavlik, Jr etc cherry picking guys.

That's arums choice for building the biggest ticket seller and money maker in the sport.

What a coincidence it is dibella is trying to set up Martinez with a bunch of top rank fighters.

Sorry, this is entertainment. And if a promoter spends no time building his product I don't feel bad for them. That fan base screaming for Chavez took years to built and dibella thinks he can just nickel and dome this sport and fight other promoters stars and money makers.

just like Shaw, DiBella wants to PIGGY BACK off of Top Rank or Golden Boy Promotions and as much as it kills me to say...I kinda understand what Arum is doing, he refuse to basically be USED by other PROMOTERS to help make their fighters Stars

It is not Arum job to help make Martinez a bigger star simply because his Promoter can't do it. Not defending Bob because I think he is full of **** and is just making excuses because he knows Martinez would destroy most of his fighters at 154-160 but DiBella need to do a better Promoting the #2 P4P Fighter, he SHOULDN'T be DEPENDING ON Top Rank to GIVE HIS FIGHTER A BIG FIGHT!

I know Martinez is 36 but he might as well just fight the fighters available at 160, guys like Dimitry Pirog, Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam, Daniel Geale because he is not going to get the Big Fights he wants right now. He just might have to consider moving up if this continues to happen.

what did arum do wrong there? mayweather turned down career high paydays to avoid them then when the same amount came up later to fight baldomir he took it because he knew it was an easy win. when cotto was a huge star at welterweight mayweather retired so stop pretending like mayweather didn't duck anyone.

Dibella is nothing but an opportunity promoter. He grabs established fighters and tries to turn a quick $ off them.

The only fighter he "built" was andre Berto and most of that was haymons work. Fans can't expect promoters who put time and money into fighters to just throw that away. You know how much money promoters lose?

How much you think arum lost on vilero, or fools like Omar Henry who never pan out? These promoters lose more money on fighters and events than you guys can imagine. This **** cost a lot of money.
