i'm a mayweather supporter and i, myself, am not sure if floyd would be as eager to fight alvarez as you think. of course it probably would happen given the amount of money on the table but a fight with alvarez wouldn't be just a walk in the park as you may suggest. alvarez is good..very good. he's so good that during the mathew hatton fight, i had a premonition that it would be he, alvarez, in a few years, emerging as the top threat to mayweather's crown. and i say in a few years because a lot of people are yet to know how good this kid is.

But if you really want a Sergio fight, go ask an argentinian billionaire to put up the money for Martinez and Manny will grab it in a heart beat!!!
Martinez wants to get paid too and so does Ortiz. Arum wants to sacrifice Canelo to Manny when Manny is supposed to be fighting the top WW's/fighters in the division.

Stop pretending that you think an ortiz fight would be the best for pacquiao... the only reason you're spewing that kind of **** is because you already have excuses for when he loses... oh he was TKO'd by maidana, and he had a draw with lamont, oh and his only good win was against berto... posters like you are horrible.
Manny is just ducking period. I wouldn't have a problem with him doing what he is doing, if Pac fans would just admit that Arum and Pac are only in it for the money and not for making the best fights.

WHAT?! Now I know you Pac fans are on Pac's sack too hard.

Pacquiao and Mayweather had agreed to unlimited random urine testing, but Mayweather also insisted on random blood testing, even though the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which would oversee the bout at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, requires only urine testing.

Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KOs) didn't want blood testing but later relented and agreed to three blood tests: one during the week of the kickoff news conference, which would have taken place next week, one random test to be conducted no later than 30 days before the fight and a final test in his dressing room after the fight. Mayweather (40-0, 25 KOs) would be subject to the same testing procedures.

When they could not come to an agreement, Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions, which represents Mayweather, turned to a mediator, retired judge Daniel Weinstein, who had successfully mediated a series of disputes between Top Rank and Golden Boy in 2007.

But after nine hours in mediation on Tuesday in Santa Monica, Calif., and further attempts to come to a resolution on Wednesday failed, the fight was pronounced dead by the Pacquiao camp.
Pac fans are always trying to forget this and substitute it with a 2nd and 3rd negotiation, not realizing that it should have NEVER been a 2nd or 3rd negotiation. What is your excuses for Pac not fighting Floyd when it mattered? Go ahead and cosign the duck.

What are you, a moron??!!! Obviously they are in it for the f****ing 65million dollars!!! But Canelo isn't necessarily is some chop liver!! He is young, hungry, has MW power in both hands and has speed. And it was that mexican billionare who made the match-up, so nobody is ducking anybody, and if you are so butt hurt about it, why don't you make a letter of request to that billionare and ask for Floyd or Sergio in place of Canelo!!!

"floyd mayweather fights when he wants to". he has been quoted saying that. and when he does fight he usually picks up the most money. but with numbers like $65 mil being tossed around, i reckon he'll be "wanting" to fight real soon!

                • When yopu see the richest man in the world proposing Pacman fights Saul Alvarez inside Mexico, it means that Marquez isn't going to win this November!

And you can't expect another Promoter to match that $65million dollar for Pacman to fight any so called slick african- american boxer.

Can we expect Hopkins to speak up again?

I don't care because ain't none of it coming to me. I just want to see a worthwhile fight with Pac involved. Atleast let Manny take on someone like Ortiz and then a soft touch in Canelo. Isn't Arum and Pac fat enough? I bet if any other top fighter wanted to fight Canelo for 65MIL, then we would have to hear Pac fans screaming foul, finding something to complain about. I read it all on boxingscene.

You are living in the past idiot, you are talking about something that happened centuries ago, this incident you are talking about happened in the first negotiation. Then the second negotiation came and this happened -

Manny Pacquiao: “I feel like I don’t need Mayweather to make my career. I fought the best and anyone willing to face me. I want it, and feel the fans deserve the Mayweather fight. I want to prove to everyone that it wasn’t me who didn’t want the fight. That’s why I made the concession to take anything [blood tests] he wants at any time. Even during the fight before the sixth round if he wanted! What else can I do? I hope we get the fight done soon. Let’s get it on.”
