Arum and team Pacquiao have expressed strong interest in fighting in Mexico. Margarito vs Pacquiao being held in Mexico was up for serious discussion and Manny has stated that he wants to fight in Mexico, so a bout against Alvarez would be a huge opportunity for him to do so.

Pacquiao is the most popular name in boxing down in Mexico (among current fighters) and giving the fact that Alvarez is huge down there (rock star status) then a fight between the two makes alot of sense money wise.

I really wish this were to happen in 2013 to give Alvarez more time to develop but hell all the truly great fighters have had huge step up fights by 21, so this falls along those lines. Also a loss to Manny doesn't set Canelo back too much and he is young enough to recover.

What did I say the sky is the limit next year for the Pacquiao's sweepstakes.

All roads lead to Manny Pacquiao. Hope he fights in Korea one day. I can think of a couple of places and people to meet before the fight night comes. Seoul will be a great place to host any of Pacquiao's fight.

          WAR CANELO!

          WAR PACQUIAO!

I wanna hear SNSD sing in Korean again not Japanese.

Besides Saul being a ****ing bad ass. I would love to see how Saul's youth, heavy hands, and strong body would work against Pacquiao. Pacquiao's first legit fight since Marquez 2, if faught at MW.

But one glaring thing is. Why is Pacquiao willing to fight Saul a MW and not Martinez a MW?

            Shady shady ducky shady.

WTF? Saul is a jr middleweight and he has been fighting almost all of his fights at Welter

And the most Alvarez has weighed for a fight has been 151 lbs

Doesn't matter. It's above WW. When all of Pacquiao's stans say he can't make anything above 147 as a reason to not fight Martinez.

Also, I didn't say Saul and Martinez are the same size. However he is above WW.

Still would love to see how Saul does. He is beasty.

                  65 MILLION DOLLARS

Pacquiao doesn't want to go above 147 or 150 but for that kind of cash could you blame him?

You can't call it a duck when you're talking about 65 million. Seriously, who the hell makes that kind of money....ever?! no one.

I still doubt if its true or not but if it is no way anyone can blame pac if he takes it, that is an insane amount of money. As far as I know more than anyone has ever made in one fight in history.

and who says it would be middleweight? Canelo typically fights at 150...

Use some common sense please. For 65 million Jorge Arce would fight Vitali Klitschko. In a Martinez fight Pac would only get about 1/4 of that 65 million. Couple that with the fact that Martinez wouldn't be able to make 150 or 151 which is likely where this fight (Pac vs Canelo) would take place.

And it's true he can't make anything above 147. He can't even make f'n 147, so how in the hell is he supposed to make anything higher? 147 is his limit but for a fight as lucrative as this he'd be crazy not to fight at 150 again even if he can't make it.

My dude... what about $65 million did you not understand?

And Canelo is Mr. 150 lb catchweight, even if he didn't make it last time. He'll DEFINITELY make it for a Pacquiao fight.
