    hmm

I don't "think" Roy will win by KO. It's much more likely he will get KO'd than to score a KO vs Tarver who seemingly has a good chin. If Roy wins it'll be by decision. If he gets a KO somehow I think I would have to wait till everyone else leaves the St. Pete Times Forum before I leave because I will have creamed myself.

      Hey Lightweight,

I was just checking out maxboxing fight predictions and there are 3 or 4 guys picking Jones to win by KO.

that is the only way I want either guy to win is by KO, no decisions, whoever wins I want them to plant the other guy right on his ass, may the best man win!

Jirov has lost 3 of his last 4 and not against great compotion. He had a draw in his last fight against a bum.

Jones, by maj dec, not close either.

            jones

Jones would beat jirov easier than toney and toney beat him very easily.

jones isnt as close to his opponents as toney is so that would eliminate jirov ever having a chance to hit him like he did with toney since toney stood right in the pocket the whole time.

jones moves around and just lead with left hooks and straight rights which would murder jirov.

            i say jones tko 7.

and yes thats the best jirov ever not the jirov of now who obviously is pretty ****ty

Those of you who want to see Jirov Vs. Jones fight, replay Gatti Vs. Mayweather!

Jirov is a great warrior, but he is way too slow and too awkward for a skilled virtuoso like RJJ.

I talked to a boxing writer who was with the Toney camp after he beat Jirov annd if you think the fight with Jirov was easy you just dont know much.

Toney wne thru hell to get that W, it was easily the toughest most grueling fight of his career!

Keep in mind that when I talk about Jirov Im talking about a prime undeafeated Jirov, sure he had half the skill as a Roy Jones but to beat Roy later in his career which would have been the case if they fought all you needd to have a shot against him in my mind was heart and relentless pressure, if anything Vassily Jirov would have provided those two things!

The only time we have seen Roy face relentless pressure was against the Road Warrior and what did Roy do, he basically quit at the start of the fight.

                  hmm

Judging how Roy would do in his prime vs Jirov based on what he did vs Glen Johnson is pretty ******.
